The Sheriki Fulani and Vice-Chairman Arewa Council of Chiefs of Lagos State, Alhaji Muhammed Bambado, has urged youths in the country to maximize their youthful potentials while they are still young. By acting at the nick of time he said, they would then realize that valuable time has not been wasted.

 
He gave the advice at his Surulere palace when he received in audience the Exec-members of the Atiku Progress Forum who paid him a courtesy visit.

 Speaking further he said “Let me use this golden opportunity to address the youths present here and those out there that you should maximize your youthful years. Make sure that these youthful years are not spent in wild goose chase, so that at your old age, you will not regret that you have wasted your God-given talents”.

He thanked members of the APF who he said are in the vanguard of effecting the change the Nigerian nation actually desired. “Mr. Chairman, having listened to you, I am happy that there exist today in Nigeria, some patriots who are committing their hard earned cash to effect a change in the attitude often displayed by the electorate whose penchant for selling their votes for paltry sum offered them by some anti-progress politicians has become a worrisome situation in our body polity”.

Full of praise for the Turaki Adamawa, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, he described him as a truly untribalized Nigerian. He said Atiku as someone who has been in the system, would perform better if given the chance to lead this nation. “I have had contact in the past with this amazing Nigerian and so have no iota of doubt that as someone who is acquainted with the problems of Nigerians will be capable of wrestling down the hydra-headed monster that has beguiled Nigeria and Nigerians for decades”.

Expressing surprise, he said he is short of words to see Otunba Onasanya a Yoruba man who is rooting for an Hausa man Alhaji Abubakar as most credible Nigerian to steer the state of affairs, stressing that this development might just perhaps “be the very beginning of a new dawn in the political firmament of our dear nation where ethnicity and tribal politics will be consigned to the dustbin of history”.

Earlier the Chairman Atiku Progress Forum (APF) Otunba Doyin Onasanya went down memory lane chronicling the activities of the body which he said is to preach to the Nigerian people the dire need of a change of mind in all facets of our lives.

“Your royal highness, we have the mandate to let the Nigeria people know that the change of mind that will take our dear nation to the next level has to begin from us - the change that will make us shun politicians with their money and thereafter vote into elective offices, the man of our conscience, the change of going to registration centers and get ourselves registered, collect our voters card, because we know that by doing that we posses in our hands the weapon that will enable us vote into office the people we are convinced  have the masses at the back of their minds if they assume office. He enthused. 

He told the monarch that the message as he speaks is well received by Nigerians across the 36 states including the Federal Capital City of Abuja. The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of gifts by Otunba Onasanya to the royal father.
