This was disclosed at the 1st workshop in conjunction with SOAR on the role and responsibility of NYSC-CDs officials in responding to child abuse.

In the opening remark the Executive Director of SOAR Chinyere Eyoh stated the fact and objective of the project. She said it will help to build the capacity of NYSC corps members to raise awareness against child sexual abuse as advocates to respond to survivors.

She also said it will help establish linkages and referral pathways between the youth advocates NYSC and CSO's.
