Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, has revealed that some human elements threatened his life during the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Governorship Primaries in Anambra State.

The primaries were won by Oseloka H. Obaze (OHO) as he polled 672 votes to beat the duo of Dr. Alex Obiogbolu and Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah who scored 190 and 94 votes respectively on Monday.

However, Umahi, who deputized as Chairman of the Anambra State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primaries, stated that they never felt intimidated by the actions of those individuals planning evil against him.

“There is no form of threat we didn’t get even as governors. But after we said our prayers, we said whatever will happen should happen.

We must do away with the mindset of people going to assignments like this to seek money. We had no interaction with anybody. We did everything possible to maintain high integrity. We must not send persons that we can’t vouch for their character to conduct party primaries.”
